Defect: My laptop not able to write to class 4 SD card, which I use in my DSLR. Attempt #1: Sent my laptop to customer service, technician decided to change the motherboard. Reason given, the SD card slot is resided within motherboard. Call me 2 weeks later, to collect it. I tested on the spot, problem not solved. But the task form been filled as tested OK? I questioned the technician, he gave me the answer said the laptop is come with this spec, can not write to class 4 SD card, nothing he can do. :s And asked me to try it on another same model's machine. Weird, I thought this thing suppose to be handle by this center? Where should I go to find the same model to test it out?? Speechless... I still can bear with this defect, cause I can write to my SD card using other computer. Attempt #2: Couple of weeks later, front desk officer called me, asked for feedback and rating regarding previous service. Of course I was not satisfied, didn't solve my problem, except I got a...

35th birthday, I pamper myself with a great gift. I had eye laser treatment, did LASIK last month, during Chinese New Year break. The treatment in operation room was quick, around 10 mins. The eyes were very sensitive to light but no pain. At the same night, I can drive to buy my dinner. Hehe... For past a month, I took very good care of my eyes. Stay indoor, less workout, rest my camera too. Went for follow up check up, doctor said recovery is in good progress Now still continue to use eye drops to moisurise the eyes, but won't feel too dry compare to first 2 weeks. The need of eye drops become less and less Feel good without glasses, vision is crystal clear! :)

Sick and very weak on Wednesday night, can't drive to see doctor. So, just took panadol and went sleep. Woke up middle of the night, cause of pain, condition getting worse, tried to sleep it off. Morning woke up in sweat, feel good, so Went to work as usual. In the office, I was surrounded by sick people, virus in the air. I cough seriously, went to see doctor after work, took medicine for cough and fever. Sigh... fever attacked again, this time plus diarrhea. Don't care, took panadol + cough syrup, this remedy made me sleep like death. Friday morning woke up, rush to toilet, oh no, diarrhea haven't stop. Went to see doctor again, and on medical leave for a day. I consulted doctor twice within 14 hours time, and have medicine as my "dessert" for few days. @.@ Feel good after rest for 2 days during weekend.

Project lead is on business trip. Suppose to be short trip, but it get delayed, as expected. My assignment has been postponed to next phase, no urgency at all right now. Anyway, I had completed it, with some doubts that need to be clarify. Since there is no urgency, senior is not responding to my mail, no one bother to review the codes or design document. Well, just leave it there, till the time come. No assignment for few weeks, so, I do self study, explore new tools, prove of concept... good life? mm... my role not well defined, no direction, and getting lost.... bored!!!

2 crazy fellows, and a short notice plan, then we headed off to Padang Serai, Kulim, on Saturday morning. Travel by my little car, we went for food hunt, buddy be the navigator. The weather was good, cloudy in the morning, not so hot. cloudy morning Eh??!! The noodle stall is no longer at the alley, aiyo.. how come? Never mind, let's settled the main task first. We went to pray at a nearby temple. I pray for good luck. Many unhappy things happen lately, wish to have everything resolved soon. After prayer, we not gave up the food. Buddy called a local friend, we been told that the stall has been moved to kopitiam. Yeah.. finally found it, famous hokkien mee and curry mee, ordered one each, but taukeh gave 2 dry hokkien mee. Erm.. never mind, we will come again next time to try the curry mee. The dry hokkien mee has various toppings. The water leaking from upstairs frustrated me for few weeks!! It started mid-May, the water proof expert told me the pipe from upstairs broken, need to go into that unit to fix it. BUT.... nobody able to contact or meet the tenant. The owner stays oversea, he authorizes an agent to take care of the unit. Deal with agent and condo management for weeks, still not manage to get in touch with the tenant. Is there a ghost staying there? I did go to check it out few times, nobody answer the door, but I can hear noise from my unit. Mysterious tenant. When I was away from home for a short trip, and reached home late night, the water was dripping and wet the floor, from common bathroom area till my living room. :( Obviously, after I switch off the main pipe, there is someone come back and switch it on again. But no one see the tenant. my ceiling condition, getting worst :( Argh... WHAT ELSE CAN I DO? Report police? What to tell the police? A ghost stay in condo unit above mine? sigh... ...

I booked an hourly maid for housekeeping, from a cleaning agency. She was helping me to settle the major cleaning chaos, eg: glass windows, doors, grill, fans.... while she doing the major part, I was not free, was tidying up my wardrobe, study desk and other personal stuffs. Her name is Shanti (not sure if I spell correctly or not, but it sound like it.). She did a detail cleaning job and fast. Let's see how many tasks she had completed in 4 hours. 1) grill, glass doors and windows - these are most tedious, spend ard 2++ hours. 2) 5 ceiling fans 3) 2 toilets 4) vacuum - floor and sofa 5) mop the floor This is the first time I hired a maid, not sure if she completed the tasks in reasonable time or not. But i think I might spend the similar amount of time on those chaos, if I do it. In my opinion, should be quite reasonable. One thing that surprise me, she vacuum my sofa, before I ask. :P She know what to do most of the time, no need to give many instructions. Hope next time...

One of the task in my role is release the firmware for testing. Today I did my first release!! Well, one word - messy!! :P I get a green light from development team at 4.40pm, erm.. 20 minutes before I called it a day. No matter how, need to get the release out for testing over the weekend. As first timer, and senior is on leave. It was a backup plan for me to get involve, but it turn to be implemented plan. I know part of it, not all process. Luckily other team members helping and guiding me. I took longer time to complete the task. Appreciate all the patience shown by team mates. I will do it better next time.

Weather is too hot, I am avoiding outdoor activities. Last weekend, I managed to settle my stuffs in morning time. Was staying at home for the rest of the day, and suffering from headache due to hot weather. The fan spinning at high speed, but the hot air still filling the room. Drink lots of water and eat lots of fruits. Luckily my company has in-house cafeteria, no need to go out during lunch time, or else, I will melt down. Night time also very hot, just right after shower, sweating again. I think have to shower again before go to bed, and switch on air-cond in bed room. :P corn become pop corn under hot sun. hahaha...

Process to get the passport has been improved. I went to imigration office of Alor Setar, completed passport renewal process within 2 hours. :D I was first attended by a very pretty officer. After submitted the form, wait for payment. Their KPI is to handover the passport in 1 hour, after the payment. After 1 hour, I went to collect my passport, on the dot. :P hee.. wanna see their efficiency. I waited for another 5+ minutes, the officer told me today machine got problem, so late a bit. The officer apologized in very polite way. :) Performance of government servant is improving. Let's hope to see more improvement in future. One thing that puzzle me, I am not allow to be too tall. My height is 168cm, in previous passport, it stated 166cm, this time, they allow me to grow another 1cm, to 167cm. hahaa... No idea why they minus the number that I filled in form.

It was 3 days off for Labor Day. I went back home town to accompany parent. My dad is workaholic, he seldom take day off. This is the day that he willing to grant himself a day off. I bring parent for short trip to Sik. I informed them since a week ago, till the morning before departure, then only I got the confirmation. As usual, very very last minute decision. :S After breakfast, brother drove, I be navigator, we heading to Sik from Alor Setar. After 1.5 hours drive, we reached the grape farm. OMG, so damn hot!! A lot of visitors, can see some cars and buses from outstation. Tasik Beris I got to know this farm from Step Forward show in 8Tv. Never thought grape can grow well in tropical weather. The farm is beside the Beris Lake, with nice scenery. In the farm, there is limited area that open for visitor. The grape grow in big green house. It is hot and humid inside. I seldom blog nowadays, the last post seems like very long time ago. Well, I am not busy, but my time always full of activities, or sometime I purposely do not allow myself to be free and feel lonely. I still adapting the hour after I changed job to current company. The working hour start from 8am, it's much earlier compare to previous one, which I could be in office around 9.30am. Good thing is, I can leave office at 5pm. :D I heading to gym right away. After dinner and some housework, not much time left before I go to bed. Spend a little bit time on internet, reading then sleep. The same routine repeated for weekdays. Weekend is always full of life. Spending time in my hobbies. I love photography, snap the memorial moment, the view and the people. I like cooking too, will prepare simple meal for myself. Housekeeping is another activity during weekend too. :P erm.. next time I should post more about my photography activities here. See.. I not really can h...

I bought a new laptop, the belated birthday gift for myself. This is the first time I own a laptop, I had been using company's laptop for few years. After a month survey of the specification and price, finally I got one with good spec and price. ;) The Lenovo G470 Intel Core i5 Processor i5-2410M 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, 640GB Hard Disk Interior view The Function (Fn) key has been switch to normal place. It used to be on the left of Ctrl key. Bought it during the fair, here are all free goodies + free upgrade of another 2GB of RAM + RM100 Parkson shopping voucher. Great deal!! :D I bought a 4GB pendrive by purchase with purchase, with RM10. I should have go to redemption counter first, before I buy the 8GB pendrive, now I got 2 of them. And I was lucky to get a RM10 voucher from fortune wheel draw. haha... good start uh... Let's see if I can get the grand price, with the 22 pieces of lucky draw forms that I had filled in. Pray for me ya... ;)

I wake up at 6.30am, out from home at 7.30, reach office around 8. Work finish at 5pm, reach fitness center around 6, workout and take shower there. Back to home at 8pm, watch news and having dinner. Watch drama, then go to bed at 10.30~11pm. The routine repeat for every weekday, normal working life. Weekend, sometime lazy, will stay at home, laying on sofa. Fall into sleep when tired, else watch TV show, reading, sometime cooking, surfing net... If I am going out, mostly will go for photographing and shopping. :)

Out from home quite early, but trapped in unexpected jam. There were accident somewhere, caused the route to new office become more jam than usual. I was late for 5 minutes, not that bad. :P Breakfast is part of new hire reporting procedure too. ;) After go thru company policies with HR, I had been brought to cafeteria for breakfast. welcome gift at my cubicle New hire also entitled a free lunch on first day. Food is good! Hope this is better working place. :)

Today, for the very first time, I talked to him in-person. He was sad and heart break to see me leaving. He requested me to stay, and promised to do everything to make the change, ensure I will get what I wish to have for long. I do not want to put in any trust to the sweet promises. I have been disappointed after so many years. I turned down his good intention. We ended the session in a peaceful way. He gave me some advices and he said we can still be friend. p/s: It was conversation with director on 14-Feb, when I was about to leave company. :P

Bathed my little car last night, get it ready for car blessing this morning. Drove to Hindu temple, which is situation at the junction before Botanical Garden. The blessing ceremony was very fast. My car was sprinkling with flower water, the priest chanting matra, then I hold a coconut walked around the car, then I broke the coconut onto the stone, within 10 minutes, done!! my little car Hunting for food. Buddy brought me to a Indian veggie restaurant, pay the meal by donation on your will. Food is good, ambiance is relaxing too. Indian veggie food Passed by poisonous area of DSLR, bought a pouch for my camera, a handy pouch that easier for me to move around with big camera. :P camera bags in L, M, S size, just got the S size today. :P Have a little walk at 1st Avenue, Chinese New Year decoration is up. Last week of year 2010, I took one week leave. I really need some good rest, after busy for couple of hectic weeks. Actually, I thought of take 1 or 2 months leave, but I do not have such luxury privilege to dismiss from work for long period, only can take 1 week, better than none. The holiday start from Christmas. I had fun time with friends at karaoke, and spent couple of hours chatting. Girl's talk, talk talk talk... time fly!! I went back to home town for 2 days, doing nothing, but eat and rest, and eat and rest.... Back to Penang, settle something "BIG", one was buying car. This year, I spent a lot of "BIG" money: bought and reno my home sweet home; bought DSLR and little car, Myvi. I own a very comfortable home. I am learning photography from a gang of good sifu, and I got a new car to tour around. I am now in KL. This is my annual trip. hahaha... I will be in KL during year end, come here to find my sister and we go shopping. Usually I will shop...

I booked my little car, Perodua Myvi, few days before end of 2010. Perodua having sales, I got RM1000 discount. The process was super fast. I paid booking fee and down payment, I signed all the documents, for car loan, insurance and JPJ. Everything was in such a hurry, as I won't be in Penang till next year, and salesman need to close the business account end of December, and suddenly we had extra holiday on 31 December. phew... Luckily everything settled before I left Penang. The next day, got to know from the salesman, I got my car plat number. Huh!!! So fast!! Really fast and efficient service. ;) When I back to Penang "next" year, I will have my new car. Yeah!!!

Working very hard in office, to finish lots of work before go off for holiday. Left office at 5pm, erm.. this consider early for me. :D Thought can go back earlier, then plan to make some dessert and do housekeeping. But... My car having some problem, engine die off once I slow down, stop by at workshop, mechanic help me to do a minor adjustment on timing thingy (I not very sure what.. ) , problem solved, AND it's FOC. Ho.. Ho.. Ho.. Christmas present for me. Made dessert, housekeeping and laundry. Woo.... tired, but felt happy, I finished a lot of things, then I can have a full rest during holiday, or maybe full of fun. ;) soya lychee jelly I will be on long holiday till next year. Hurray... what plan do I have?? erm.. no solid plan yet. Go back home town for few days, in Penang for few days, then go KL for few days and celebrate new year there. Merry Xmas!!!
