HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! I can not sleep well again. This few days, sleep late at night, but wake up very early, only sleep for 4~5 hours. Yupe.. it is caused by working pressure. Sigh.. too many tasks, too many issues to follow up. I just done the yearly planning, well, as usual, the boss will set goals for me. It's does not matter to me. Every year, the goals will be set, once I see them, I already know I won't able to make all of them completed by year end. It is the dream of boss, not really my career planning. Want to achieve this and that, wanna do this and that, improve here and there. Hmmh!! Everything sound so perfect and easy!! Practically, I have my daily tasks, which are boring and not value added to my career advancement. I wish I could have do something different, some research, some development, something.. different. Ya.. I can see the challenging tasks in my goals, really hope this year I can achieve it. Not like the previous years, set the goals, then it had been parked there. :( W...

A day to rest at home, nice and cooling weather, finally, it's raining. A dumpling for breakfast, cooked my own lunch, tidying my room, reading newspaper, watching TV show. Simple and relax day. Peace and quiet without hassle.

Last day of CNY, on Monday, which was replacement holiday of Thaipusam . :D I met with buddy, and we went to Esplanade, joining the crowd at official Chap Goh Meh celebration. From far, I already saw the chingay big flag, wow... it has been long time I do not see the performance. When I was kid that time, every year my parent did bring me to see the chingay parade of 9th Emperor. :) Surprisingly, some Malays girls were in the big flag's team!! An ang mo try to play with the flag, but its really too heavy for him, hardly can balance the flag, not to say to raise it on head. :P chingay big flag This was a muhibah event, on the stage, it was baba-nyonya singing and dancing. Then, at the open area, there was Chinese culture performance, like chingay and lion dance. We can see multiple culture mixing well here. :) I managed to shake hand with Lim Guan Eng!!! hahaha.. CNY Cultural & Heritage Celebration 2009 (己丑旺牛迎新春街头庙会大团拜) held on 7th day of CNY. Buddy and I was there around 7pm, wow.. so many people, crowded. This year, the area been setup according to Chinese 5 main native places: Hakka City, Hokkien City, Canton City, Hainan City and Teochew City. This was different theme from year 2008 carnival , they setup according to Chinese event, eg: cheng ming , mid-autumn... I came to Hakka City first. I am Hakka, the exhibition did provide lots of Hakka cultural detail, regarding the events, foods, buildings and celebrities too.. hee... When came to Hainan City, there were lots of tradition recipes, I snapshot most of them, for my mum reference. She is Hainan, but seldom cooks those dishes. :P Hakka moi go to Hakka City - 客家妹进城 Hakka celebrities We met CM Lim Guan Eng. Not to be surprise to see the dishes for my family reunion dinner, hahaha.. too much for a family of 6 persons uh... Every year, I will mumble to my mum, the dishes are enough for 20 persons, why need to eat all the stuff during CNY? Aren't the dishes can be cooked at normal day??. :s Well, we will having almost the same dishes, from reunion dinner till 2nd CNY!! FULL!!! CNY eve was a very busy day. Mum need to pray and cook. Of course, 2 filial daughters are good assistants. hahaha.. Sister helped on praying, and I was cooking. heehee... But, mum will tasted the food before I done, cause she know my cooking will be tasteless, no MSG, less salt, my family won't buy it. So, she will add in salt, sugar, bla bla.. and MSG, which I insisted not to add, but she win. :( I psycho her for so many years, this year got improvement already, she only added MSG to the soup. I was eating while cooking too.. wahaha.. Cooked till almost 3pm.. done and I was fulled. :D I did not each much at ni...
