feeling

早在一月份，就接洽旅游顾问把行程敲定了。从FB找到这家：台灣自由行 https://www.facebook.com/eztaiwan   在编排行程上给了我不错的建议。除了包车，还帮我们预定了民宿。 司机兼导游的King Chen，把我们照顾得周到，蛮体贴的呢。还准备了当地的电话 SIM 卡给我们，方便联络。 除了台北，我们都是包车往郊外走，翻山越岭，每晚都住不同的地方。 载了我们五天的车，和很会拍照的 King Chen。这车的空间很宽敞，可以坐六人。King 还为我们提供 Wi-Fi 哩，在路上还可以上网。呵呵。。。 第一次踏足台湾，即熟悉又陌生。 熟悉是因为语言相通，而且来之前，我也做了很多功课，参考了很多资料，对名胜地还认识不少。King 还怀疑我是第一次到台湾。哈哈。。。 陌生的是这里的人情味，台湾人的随和与礼貌，真的让我留下很好的印象。接触过不同国家的华人，不曾遇到像台湾人那么礼貌的。很喜欢听他们讲带着尾音华语，女生讲起来很嗲咯。 七天的行程，走了很多地方，但还有很多地方没走，我一定会再到台湾去。 这是我们的行程，和照片分享。 ^_^ 第 1 天： 桃园机场 -> 台中。逢甲夜市 -> 夜宿逢甲新宿 逢甲夜市 (Fengjia Night Market) 吃饱饱。 更多照片： https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152053371769296.1073741883.755919295&type=1&l=fdee2cface 夜宿：逢甲新宿，房间还蛮干净的，只是隔音没那么好，但也不会太吵。 https://www.facebook.com/fcfunstay/about 第 2 天： 台中 -> 嘉义。天长地久桥 -> 奋起湖 -> 阿里山园区 -> 夜宿阿里三青山别馆 天长地久桥 (Eternity Suspension Bridges) 触口，是往阿里山的关口。这里有两座吊桥，上方为天长桥，下方为地久桥。 更多照片： https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1015205340522429...

What a tiring but great weekend.  It has been a while I do not feel such joyful days.  My weekend was all about photography. :)  Saturday, I was wondering around on Chulia Street, alone.  Again, pretended I am a visitor. ;)  It looks so different from the night.  I usually come here at night for food.  It was a quiet weekend morning.  Most of the shops were not open yet.  It is not as lively as night time, where the bars, the food stalls are packed with locals and foreigners.   I walked slowly along the street, not many cars.  Can't breath deeply, it is so smelly.  :(  The awful smell from the clogged drains.. yiak... I was trying to walk into an alley, but had to give up due to smell of urine. To my surprise, there are quite a number of nice boutique hotels, these are newly operated premises, after retreading the heritage buildings.  Feel amazed looking at the face lift of old building, giving it a new l...

It was 3 days off for Labor Day. I went back home town to accompany parent. My dad is workaholic, he seldom take day off. This is the day that he willing to grant himself a day off. I bring parent for short trip to Sik. I informed them since a week ago, till the morning before departure, then only I got the confirmation. As usual, very very last minute decision. :S After breakfast, brother drove, I be navigator, we heading to Sik from Alor Setar. After 1.5 hours drive, we reached the grape farm. OMG, so damn hot!! A lot of visitors, can see some cars and buses from outstation. Tasik Beris I got to know this farm from Step Forward show in 8Tv. Never thought grape can grow well in tropical weather. The farm is beside the Beris Lake, with nice scenery. In the farm, there is limited area that open for visitor. The grape grow in big green house. It is hot and humid inside. The weekend was all about photography. Saturday with group of photographer, we went to Floral Festival at Botanical Garden. Although it was raining, but it didn't stop the passionate photographers. :D Thanks to few sifu who gave me good advices, for me to produce nice photos. I took something like this... messy :( sifu said, detail would be better. More practices, then I got my favorite shoot. I named it “生命中的曲折” / "Twist of Life" I supposed to meet up with buddy after the outing, but failed to get in touch. So, I went to Queensbay Mall to take photo of Christmas decoration. the theme for this year is "Barbie", everything in pink. Sunday morning, met up with buddy, we went to Straits Quay for photo shooting. We were not the only photographer there. This new place in town attracts lots of attention, there was a group of photographer with cute models; a photography workshop with model in wedding gown, and many others. Hehehe.. It was a very tough mission for a newbie photographer!! Sister's wedding dinner was held in KL, in a restaurant with very nice and warm ambiance. I felt great and thought I could snap lots of nice photos. Tried to shoot a few photos, dark. Ok, try flash, ee.. how come still long shutter?? Switch from Aperture to Auto mode, yiak!!! Dark background and harsh subjects. :S Oh no.. how come ar? What's wrong here??? Set ISO, set exposures.. set... OK, got it right at MANUAL mode, and shutter speed around 1/4 to 1 second, my hands need to be very steady!! Phew~ luckily I was there 3 hours earlier, can try out a lot of setting to get it right. decor on stage In the action, a bit nervous and rush, got blur photos and retake, some angles were too dim, have to switch to Auto mode, sigh.. I thought I was lousy, but the other photographers also can not get it right, hee... I think I am not too bad after all. :P Pity my feet, 3 hours on high heels with heavy camera gears. Photography fever heating up fast, next level --> I bought Nikon D90. Hehehe... the gear set I visited a few shops to check out the price. Morning doing the survey, afternoon locked down a shop. Yeah.. paid and got my babe. :) Next step, identify the button, the menu, the function.. arrgghh... too many buttons, to0 many functions. :S Step by step, begin with quick start manual, then to full manual. Nikon family I love the babe, one item lesser from my wish list. Thanks to buddies who gave me lots of advice, teach me the photography techniques and practice with me. Learning in progress...

The first time, I join a gang of photographers, go for an outing at fun park. We were there quite early, before dark. The park just opened, not many people yet. We snapshot freely, even enter the ride area. No one stop us, as there was no customer yet. :P The gang well equip with DSLR. Me? Using compact camera. hehheee.. I am aiming for DSLR for long, but do not have budget yet. Wait for coming bonus... I can still snap very nice photos though, skill does matter. hahahaha... ;) the gang I got a bit boring when the night fall, I hardly to snap any photo with compact, lack of flash. The gang continued, I observed aside. I wish I can get the DSLR soon!! I learned from sifu, it was a great time. I can not sleep at night, had too much of fun? Or I was hungry in the mid night? I think both. :P It's not end yet.
