Start the weekend with work out. :) yeah.. I went to gym in the morning, then met up with buddy to have lunch at Penang Road, the most famous cendol stall and kopitiam . We were having laksa and char koay teow , both were normal, kinda lost the previous reputation, disappointing. Obviously, the laksa definately not as previous, I think the one in Bayan Baru BB cafe is better. After the meal, we stood beside the cendol stall for cooling dessert. If you bring the dessert into kopitiam , the kopitiam owner will charge you 50 cents for each, blood sucking!! It was so nice to have cooling dessert during hot weather. :) laksa / char koay teow A hot sunny day, so, we went to Gurney Plaza, there was a bridal gown design contest. Most of the contestants are from a art college in town. Friday is non-uniform day. And here is my look for the day, a day in OL look. ;) A fresh look to start a brand new day, a day that I have lots of tasks to be completed. My housemate said I seem like going for hang out. The guard yelling, "aiyo... gorgeous!!!" Oh well, he does not know my name, everyday, he greets me with nick name "gorgeous". :D Colleagues said I am pretty. Buddy said, "You wear so formal, do not want to have lunch with you, attire mismatch." I am speechless... Anyway, I did enjoy the lunch with the gang. :) Passer-by whistle on me at hawker center.. erm.. I don't like this. The day end. The tasks meeting target. In a good mood, back home take rest. Raining, a cooling weather to have a good sleep. Hopefully I will not be awaken by slamming door...

Slept very late on Friday night, after went for mid night movie. Saturday need to go back office to work on urgent issue, woke up quite early. I was at office as usual time, 9++ am. I thought there was not many people at work, I could finished my work faster. Too bad, the server gave me lots of problem, the process halt for many times, restarted my laptop few times... sigh... I was so sleepy and tired. Buddy dropped a SMS to me, asked me for lunch. Yeah... good, I had to recharge. We had lunch at nearby hawker center, ordered lots of food. Buddy said I need more food to boost up my spirit for work wor.. :P After great lunch, went back office to finish my work. Server gave me problem again, hardly to send out the mail, keep on trying. Sigh.. not a good day to work during weekend, there were some maintenance of servers on that day, that's why the server performance was not stable. :( Back home took a nap, then met up with home town friends again. Not a quality hang around though. :P ...

Friends from home town came to visit Penang on last Friday night. No solid plan, everything decided at very last minute. We went for mid night movie. Before movie, still had couple of hours, hanging around the mall and had some drinks at Starbucks. So coincidentally, we were in black blouses. :D Doing what at cafe? Drink lo.. chat a bit lo.. thought can have good chatting, but one chatting with hubby on sms / call, one busy download with wifi to iPhone, me took chance to sit back and relax. I had been thru a very hectic day in office, but unfortunately, the task had been delayed. ladies in black We watched Knowing. If I knew this is a thriller, I won't wanna watch it. The story is not scary, but the way they present the story made it very scary. Knowing If you know something bad going to happen, but you not able to stop it, how will you feel? Feel terrified, helpless especially if the incident involved someone we love.

" Character Determines Success " is a slogan of a training course, regarding the characteristic of a person. Most of the engineer in my company have to attend the course. Today, I presented the scenarios, reflecting the characteristic that mentioned in the course. Scenario 1: Attentiveness vs Distraction In a meeting room, everyone sit around a meeting table. One engineer sharing the information via projector and explaining. During the sharing, someone trigger another side discussion, distract couple of audiences' attention and disturbing the rest. I was trying to pay attention to the sharing, but the side discussion was too loud. That is a small meeting room, 8 of us were merely fit in the room. You can imagine that the side discussion will be heard by everyone. So, at that same moment, 2 persons were talking, a group having discussion with the presenter, the other group had their own agenda. My sister and I was traveling to Hong Kong on 1~7 April. We booked the Air Asia ticket since last year July, when they were having promotion. I spent a few days to sort out the photos, adding caption and then upload and share it out. Lots of friends been urging me to share the photos since I back here.
