2 days in Singapore, 7 & 8 June. Yeah... Great Singapore Sales. hee... Shopping time!!!
We heading to Singapore, went to Linny's house first, rest for a while. We then drove to Suntec City Mall. So crowded there. Sales everywhere. I like the fashion there and their quality is better, I guess it's worth the price, but if convert to RM, most of it will be quite expensive. :s If only I work and earn SG, then I will not hesitate to buy those cloths haha.. A surprise, I bump into Alice in the mall, what a small world. We not able to chat lots, so, I suggest we would meet up the next day. (End up, we did not make it either, cause I was switching few places for shopping) We walked to Marina Bay. Night falling, nice view there. The place is landmark of Singapore. The Singapore Flyer, The 'Durian", the Merlion Park are the focus of tourists. A thing that amazed me, the construction site that full of cranes. I never see such a huge number of crane at once. It's seems like dinosaurs in concrete jungle. The site will be a new casino.

We took our dinner at C-Nai Hong Kong Cafe, at East Coast Park. The food not bad, I ordered bento set, the portion was big, but I managed to finish it, as I was very hungry. :P After dinner, we walked along the coast. The place have jogging, cycling and skating track. It also equips with BBQ stoves. Lots of people camping here, spending their weekend and enjoying the sea view.
That night, I had a sound sleep, recharged myself. :D Sunday, we were having a whole day shopping, shop till I dropped. :s First destination, IMM, there is an Esprit Outlet here. hehehe... Can not miss the chance to get some pieces of cloth. ;) The lunch was at Cafe Cartel, the restaurant is famous of pork ribs and have free flow of homemade bread. My sister told me the restaurant do not sell pork in Jakarta. I wonder will they open an outlet in Malaysia too, serving PORK?? :P The food very very tasty. We ordered 4 sets of meal for 5 of us, as the portion was big, one set less will be just nice. Oh ya.. the seafood set, Fish & Prawn combo, the prawns are fresh and juicy. yum yum.. I like the salad, I like the little carrot, I like the potatoes mashes, I like.. ohhh.. I gonna miss the food so much.
At lunch time, the place was getting crowded. There is a shop in the mall, which selling Japanese products, ALL item cost SDG2 ONLY. You can find almost all household stuff here, the cosmetic, kitchen ware, stationary, gardening utensil and etc.. All at the same cost!!
Next, we went to Vivo City, a newly hot spot in town. Haiyo.. so many people too. Erm, more branded stores, more expensive stuffs, more money to spend. See the snowman? He slim down so much, guess the tropical country is not a place for him uh, melted??!! hahaha...

Dinner at Anchorpoint, Singapore’s first ‘outlet mall’, with several brand-name chains setting up ‘outlet’ stores which offer heavily discounted goods. There are fashion, jewelery, timepiece outlets here. The mall is rather small, but you can get the branded stuffs at much lower price.
Monday morning, time to go back to Penang. We took the Five Stars coach. Yes, it's truly 5 stars, cost us SGD56 per seat! The seat facilitated with personal entertainment, massaging chair (unfortunately, it does not working), audio/video on demand and games. This is double decker bus, downstairs has karaoke lounge and wash room. I watched 3 movies on the way back, err.. be exact, 2 and half, I did not finish the 3rd movie. :D
Despite the tiring of the bus journey, this was a great trip, the BIG day of Eileen, meeting up with friends and fruitful shopping. :D And very very thank you to Linny and her husband, for their kind hospitality.
Singapore is a well organize city and the environment is clean. On the road, you can spot the digital signboard showing the number of available car park in the mall. In side the car park, it has indicator showing the empty slot too. The cash card can use to pay for shopping, parking, toll fee (this one do not have toll booth to collect money though) and etc.
I think I will love to live here. The rash on my face, which had bother me for 1 month plus, gone in 2 days while I in Singapore. But it appears again once I back to Malaysia. Sigh, the pollution is worse in here. I should consider to relocate myself to City of Lion. ;)
