I have a wonderful weekend, with peace of mind, fruitful from shopping and warm stomach with delicious food. :P
Friday worked till pretty late, reached home around 8pm. I was extremely tense during work, because the task must be completed by the end of the day. Another exhausted Friday night. When I was home, I noticed all of my housemate not around, I guessed they had all gone back to home town, for this long weekend. Mum called me to check with me if I back home town, well, I not going back. mm.. the conversation not even last for 1 minute. :s Now you know why I not really like to go back, I can't feel the warm from home. Neither I can feel any warm in Penang, but here I can go for shopping, eating.. even though I am alone, but I enjoy my days, enjoy my shopping, enjoy my quiet and peace at nights. Yupe, I slept tight for past few nights, no slamming door to wake me up in a sudden.
Day 1 - Saturday
I had completed my pending work on Saturday morning, worked since 5am (I was sleeping tight, does not mean I will sleep very late.. :P ) till noon. DONE!! Called my buddy. We went for lunch.. ehem.. correction, I had my lunch, cause my buddy had have home cooked lunch.
The lunch was the famous Lebuh Acheh Beef Soup Koay Teow, the corner shop that situated opposite the fire station. Wow.. I never thought a bowl of koay teow will cost that much!! The shop is small, but full house even though it was almost 2pm. The koay teow was served after 15~20 minutes of waiting. I ordered a big bowl, but the portion not too big, just nice for me. I think "big" means extra beef, as the koay teow is not seems like been given extra. Buddy told me, this soup taste and smell very "beef".. haha.. I not sure how’s the "beef" taste suppose to be, but I like it. :D The serving come with few types of beef product: beef balls, beef in slice, beef in cube, beef tongue in slice (not really sure of this, but saw the tongue at the stall.. hee.. ). Generally, the beef is tender. I will prefer to have only beef balls next time. :D There was a Food Hunt participants drop by the shop, and took photo. Haha.. famous Penang food. Even ang mo were curious and try to ask for info, but too bad, the owner don’t know English, pretended not heard. So bad, she should at least show some smiling face mah..

We drop by JingSi Book & Café, I bought the chopsticks, which is convenience to bring along when go out for dining. This is an environmental friendly product, to replace the usage of disposal chopsticks.

Next target, the One Corner Café fried popiah and toufu., in laksa soup.. hot and sour. It is Indian style laksa. Should have come to try the laksa in future. :P We not missed the Continental Bakery, the bread is not cheap, but I like them a lot, soft, healthy and taste good.
So full, must exercise a bit. We went to Prangin Mall for shopping. Hehehe..
Day2 – Sunday
After gym, I went to buy some groceries and my lunch. My energy recharged after lunch, drove to Queensbay Mall. Aiyo.. the open carpark was full and there was long queue of car waiting to go into carpark!!! Terrible, so many people there. Ok, gave up, I decided to go Gurney Plaza then. I walked / shopped for few hours there. Yeah~~ found the sport watch that I like. :D There is one new shop that caught my attention, the Living Quarters. I like their stylish home utilities. They occupied 2 diagonal units at 3rd floor.
Buddy came to meet me at the mall, after dinner, when for movie, Body of Lies. Not like this show. It is about the CIA and terrorist activity in Middle East. The parties will create the evidence to set someone as bait to get the bad guy.
Day3 – Monday
Today is public holiday, one good fine day. After gym and lunch, went to Queensbay. I reached there around 11am++, got a good spot to park my car. :P Yesterday, I passed by the mall at around 3pm, too crowded, learnt the lesson, today go earlier. Snap some photos in the mall first, the doraemon and the Christmas decoration. I spent 5 hours there, walked till my body aching.

Well, 3 days of shopping, how much did I spend?? Err.. around RM450, for watch, cloths, handbag and a wallet for my younger brother.

The coming week will be another busy working days for me. Sigh.. I wish to have a long holiday.

Everyone have different lifestyle. You enjoy your family hours besides work. For me, after years of working, I realize the work will never end, I learn to shutdown my brain after working hour. :P Sometimes, there are some exceptional moments, but most of the time, I won't bother so much. I am grateful, I can enjoy what I have at this PRESENT time. Life is short, we should live it in meaningful way. ;)
