CNY eve, helping mum in the kitchen whole day long, preparing the food for reunion dinner. My family do not have so many peoples, only 7 persons, but the food was so so many, can serve for 10 persons, I think. :S
Like every year, I am the only one that helping the most, my other siblings all hardly to give helping hands. I not sure how many things had i cut / chop... The veges, the mushroom... fried the "lobak", cook the soup. I only can help to do the simple dishes, the hard core dishes will let the chef to do it. :P The sea cucumber and pork, the "kao yuk", the prawn, the "shu gu". Oh ya.. the chicken and etc...

The decor
1st day of CNY, my parent and I went to templeS for praying. ya... that's the only thing I did on the day. Other than that?? eat, watch TV, watch drama, sleep, eat again.. :s My mum cooked sharkfins soup this day. :D
2nd day of CNY, visited grandma in Butterworth. Err.. Be precisely, I just said hi and then went out with my friend. :D We was in Sunway Carnival. Once reached there, straightly went to GSC first. Whoa.. long queue, don't care, queue first, then only decide which movie to watch. 2 movies to choose from, Stephen Chow's CJ7 or Jay Chou's Kung Fu Dunk. Oh ooh.. the CJ7 selling fast, so, we watched Kung Fu Dunk lo. Before the show, still got some time, when to get some snack to eat. We ordered some food at Pizza Hut. Then hang around in the mall for a while. This new mall quite nice, it has a lot of branded shop. The anchor shops are Parkson, Giant and Metrojaya.
Time for movie. This movie very nice le.. It's funny and the kung fu / slam dunk motion very vigorous and artistic :D Jay Chou acting cute in the show. :D There was a group of Jay's fan behind my seat, a group of young girls, they kept on yelling.. "oh.. Jay's soooo cuteee.. " :P The family beside me is Malay, the kid also very enjoyed the show. :D Other than Jay, Chen Bo Lin (陈柏霖) also very smart. Although his character always drunk, but when he is in the field, he become very energitic, very smart and cool when play basketball. :D

After the movie, walked out from mall, eh... raining?? Raining during CNY. :S The mother nature sick seriously. :( Anyway, the atmosphere very cooling after raining. We went back to my grandma's house, met up with my parent, then back to Alor Star.
3rd day of CNY, gathering with secondary's school mate. In Alor Star, only few places for gathering. I was at San Gai, a Hong Kong style restaurant. It's a gathering hot spot during festive season this year. I met few other groups of people here. :D It's girl's talk gathering. ehem.. you should know what we talked about la.. The beauty stuff was the hot topic hee.. Of course, we also chat about our life, exchange info of other people who was not able to meet up, who getting married, who has how many kid, who... who... Next stop, I went to a LP's house. Her mum cooked laksa. Yum yum, tasted fantastic. Ya.. another eating session, the laksa, the cookies... chat chat.. :D so many lenglui together, of course need to take photos hahaa....

This year, not much CNY mood, no lion dance at my home town, just got a few fireworks here and there (i know it was illegal, but still i hope to see more :P ). My brothers and sister had their own activities out there, not really had much time to spend together. The only time was the reunion dinner on CNY eve. I gained lots of weight. :S So, the first thing I did when back to Penang, I went for gym. I need more time to get rid of my extra weight. :(
