feeling

The proposal is to improve existing system, extend the capabilities and performances. But, boss informed that we do not have server machine for it, think of other way to enhance it. 又要马儿好，又要马儿不吃草 - to expect a horse to run fast and yet won't feed it. I always see this situation. Is it the same out there? Or only in my company? No training provided when need to pick up new knowledge, yet not include learning buffer in delivery schedule. So, the horse is going to walk, instead of run for championship.

It was a very tough mission for a newbie photographer!! Sister's wedding dinner was held in KL, in a restaurant with very nice and warm ambiance. I felt great and thought I could snap lots of nice photos. Tried to shoot a few photos, dark. Ok, try flash, ee.. how come still long shutter?? Switch from Aperture to Auto mode, yiak!!! Dark background and harsh subjects. :S Oh no.. how come ar? What's wrong here??? Set ISO, set exposures.. set... OK, got it right at MANUAL mode, and shutter speed around 1/4 to 1 second, my hands need to be very steady!! Phew~ luckily I was there 3 hours earlier, can try out a lot of setting to get it right. decor on stage In the action, a bit nervous and rush, got blur photos and retake, some angles were too dim, have to switch to Auto mode, sigh.. I thought I was lousy, but the other photographers also can not get it right, hee... I think I am not too bad after all. :P Pity my feet, 3 hours on high heels with heavy camera gears. At the end ...

It has been a very long time I do not update my blog, too busy. It was very eventful months. The happiness events - sister's wedding, brother convocation, family trip. The miserable - sick for 2 weeks plus, sleepless and tiring. Photography - getting serious in the hobby, family events, outing. But I not fit enough to carry the heavy gear, super tired after every session, sometime need to take pain killer. :s The work - sigh.. never ending assignments, stay late in office, tight schedule, sudden request.. bla bla bla... Coming events Family events - sister 3rd wedding dinner in KL in Nov, cousins' wedding in Nov and Dec. Project celebration - hope this will be a good one, working so hard for it. Long weekend ahead, I can have a good rest.

一场婚宴，让我累得垮了。不够人手帮忙，父母又要得体，这个要，那个不可少，可以到来帮忙的人更是少之又少。 妈妈什么事都要亲力亲为，把食物准备得过剩，吃不完、坏了、倒掉。我一早屡劝不听。从天明，就和三姨在厨房团团转。我真不明白她怎么还有那么多事情忙，已经预定了伙食，还要准备食物。 爸爸，等待朋友到访，左等右等，打电话三催四请，只来了三三俩俩人，非常冷清，外坡的亲戚该到的都还没到。 准备晚宴的时间到了，妹妹、妈妈和我到婚纱店化妆。期间，电话响个不停。家里的男人，真是不善处理家事。客人到了，该怎办？东西找不到，放哪里了？问路的电话也不少。。。 家里突然间多了很多人，站都没地方站，处处人撞人。我不知道谁是谁，我不知道该怎么称呼，笑容是最亲切的问好。 我的任务开始了，我是唯一的摄影师，还是个学艺不精初学者，真怕招架不住。我第一个到达会场。布置需要调整，投影需要试播，桌子需要预位。客人陆陆续续到来，我要拍照，我要带客人入座。。。帮手呢？？ 我全场走透透。 新人入席、上菜后，也没得好过。没时间享用美食，拍照是我的任务。糟糕！！没法调我的相机，最坏的一计，全自动，不调了。根本没时间让我慢慢调，有一刻，我真的快要哭出来了，师傅救命啊～～～ 重重的拙折感！灯光不均匀，唉唉唉。。。 我好累、好累、好累。。。 双脚好痛、好痛、好痛。。。睡了一夜醒来，连声音都沙哑了。以后，没人手帮忙，就别搞这些这么麻烦的事情了吧。。。

I was strip naked, lying on bed, allow another person to touch every inch of my body, from head to toe. I feel the pressure from hands, smoothly move over my body. Hahaha.. I had a wonderful massage today. Full body massage, body scrub and spa. Marvelous!!! Relax!!! The whole session around 2.5 hours, the masseur provided the adequate strength, although some spots will be a bit painful, but I still enjoy it. :) I can see some bruises on my legs, it is normal for me after massage, it is process of detoxification. After massage, is spa. I had a red wine spa. Drinking wine while spa? No la, the red wine is poured into the spa bathtub, then I was boiling myself in the tub. ;) Yeah.. Fresh!!!

Photography fever heating up fast, next level --> I bought Nikon D90. Hehehe... the gear set I visited a few shops to check out the price. Morning doing the survey, afternoon locked down a shop. Yeah.. paid and got my babe. :) Next step, identify the button, the menu, the function.. arrgghh... too many buttons, to0 many functions. :S Step by step, begin with quick start manual, then to full manual. Nikon family I love the babe, one item lesser from my wish list. Thanks to buddies who gave me lots of advice, teach me the photography techniques and practice with me. Learning in progress...
