I was very busy past few weeks. Busy with my work?? No.. no.. no.. Besides than work, i had gathering, movies, shopping, karaoke and also planning for my trips... :D

I was chatting with ex-colleague, he suggested to have a gathering, since the last time we met, it was during CNY. Okie.. who to organize? ah?? me again ar? sigh... i become an event organizer now.
I had have a dinner with my junior at Mizi Bistro, at New World Park. Recently, i received a forwarded mail, strongly recommended this restaurant. The food is simple but very nice, taste good. I like its mushroom soup the most. yum...

There will be stage performance every Friday night. 3 ladies sing and dance on the stage. The vocals not bad. A lot of shops have been opened. Mostly are restaurants and some boutiques. If you don't want to spend too much on food, can go the food court to eat Penang food, at cheaper price. ;)

After dinner, go to QB to watch The Golden Compass, mid night show. Long time didn't watch movie at late night already. Good movie. Everyone has a soul mate, which is in the form of animal. They can talk, can think, can feel the joy and pain as their owner. And the most frustration thing is, there is NO ending of the movie. :S most of audiences cursing when the show end, include me. i was still in the mood of adventuring further, and its end suddenly !@#$%^&* need to wait for its 2nd episode, if any. :S

Sunday, i had lunch gathering with my ex-colleagues, at Mizi Bistro again. :P We stayed there for 3 hours plus, chatting... Every gathering, only few people can join. This time, we have 6 persons only. All used to be in the same group back to the time when we worked in HH. Nowadays, one had become math lecturer, one will go to Singapore to work soon, one is going to migrate to Australia. And some of us, still working as very poor software engineer... sigh... :(

It's Friday again. Some colleagues going to treat us as they had just been promoted, we had lunch at Tao, E-Gate. Japanese buffet lunch, very full. We ordered various kinds of fish dishes. :D
I stayed quite late in the office. A friend called me at around 9pm, asking me for movie, so, i packed, go home for shower and met him at Gurney. Hee.. the traffic was very smooth on Friday night, where is all the nocturnal? aren't they suppose to be active at late night? The movie was mid night show. My friend noticed i had not taken dinner yet, i thought i can skip it, but he forced me to buy something to eat. okie lo, buy banana pie from McD lo, i don't want to take heavy meal. buy 2 pies, cause it's cheaper, one for me, another for my friend. But end up, i took 2 pies, and he took sundae. :S
Time for movie, Alvin and the Chipmunks. Wahahaha.... the chipmunks is so so so cute. Its reminded us of our childhood. I like to watch the cartoon. Alvin, who always cause Dave to be so frustrated; Simon, the most brilliant among them, and my favourite Theodore, eating is the most happy thing in the his life. :D I like the xmas song very much... "... hula hop ...". After the movie, it was very late night, but, i still online to find the song from web, "Xmas don't come late".

Saturday morning, went for another movie. Ya, i know, u going to say i am crazy. :P we watching Warlords, and regretted to watch it. The movie starts with killing scenes at battle field and end with dying of hero. I was screaming in the cinema. A lot of disgusting scenes. The chopped head, dead bodies spread widely in battle field... yiak... killing, killing and killing, so bloody, so boring. Although got 3 gorgeous actors, but we still disappointed with the movie. The story is about brotherhood, war and love. All main characters died. :S

I need to buy a hiking shoes, for my Mt. KK climbing next March. At first, i thought can wear my running shoes for hiking, but it is a bit slippery. Better buy another for my own safety. My friend been there 2 years ago, and he can be my adviser hee... I had bought a pair of shoes at 50% discount. it's very hard to find a hiking shoes for woman, not much choices, so, i took man's shoes.
Back home, took a short nap, then heading to Ivory Plaza, having BBQ party with colleagues. I prepared cheese cake, glad that everyone like it and comments that i can open bakery someday.. haha.. we'll see.. maybe one day... ;)
The party was to celebrate the ship acceptance of the project. We had our official celebration at Queensbay Mall previously [Hunting @ Queensbay Mall]. This was private party, for few of us to gather around and eat and chat and have fun :)) We had fried beehoon, sandwiches, cheese cake, jelly, of course, the main course... chicken wings, sausages, fish balls, drinks and wines. :D Hennessey and red wine, thanks to 2 generous gentlemen for sponsorship. loud music is a must in a party... yeah.. won't miss that...

The day was so gloomy, but luckily no raining that night. The place is very spacious, and have good BBQ pits. Before the charcoal man arrived, we were so hungry, took those readied food first while waiting for others.
The first time i see this kind of charcoal. very special uh.. neatly stack in the box. and it is very long lasting. The fun continue after the fire was up. :)

Its took sometimes to bbq the wings... at the same time, bbq myself too. :S For those who can not wait, we had another choice, fried chicken wings. ya... someone brought portable stove, a smart move. :D
The party ended around 10pm. everyone was satisfied with full tummy, clean up the place and go home...

Sunday, i had attended an ex-colleague wedding dinner at BJ complex. another gathering with ex-colleagues from PNS. the groom like to sing very much, finding buddies to sing with him.. haha.. i almost be one of the target. haiyo.. i can not sing in the public la.. hee.. i only sing in karaoke room, with only few friends :D
Talk about karaoke, yes, i had karaoke with colleagues on 20th, a public holiday. as usual, i sent out invitation, wait for response, booked the session. this time had good response, 9 persons. i reached earlier, checked in. i was so glad that the receptionist allow me to start earlier, i picked the songs, sing alone while waiting for others to come. i knew they will be late, Malaysian time... :S never mind, i can sing more hee... the other joining in, order the food, choosing the song, by the time, i already sang for almost 1 hour, finally i can pass the mic to them, and having my lunch. :P
the gang has few great singers, let's them sing for the rest of the session, i really enjoyed listen to them. Joe always acting funny... i was laughing till stomach pain when i watched the clips at home. hahahaha... this will be my best remedies when i am moody... thanks to Joe for bringing us so much fun. ;) (sorry ya.. not able to share the clips with u, the uploading take too long time, i canceled it, as i am using TMNet dial up at my home town, u know the speed la.. :S )
after karaoke, the gang dismissed. i felt hungry (George took half of my fried rice during karaoke session), called a friend out to meet up at Gurney. i asked him to think of something to eat, he is penangist, should have good idea for nice food. :P

we finished the food by 6pm, as the boss need the seat for charity dinner for 200 old folks. Rain was very heavy, but, inside the restaurant, it's full of warmest, not only from the stove, i believe the old folks having their heartiest meal and enjoy the night too. :)

i am planning my trips to KL and KK. I will go to KL for GuangLiang Concert on 12 Jan 2008. And KK trip on 15 March 2008. i will share more with you then. ;)
